Blog 7 - Second Interview Preparation

This a sketch of a modern bedroom floor plan.
  1. Who is your mentor and where do they work?  If their workplace does not reflect their expertise, what makes them an expert?
    1. My mentor is Arcel R. Punsalang and he has his own company called ArcelDesign, Inc. He’s a certified Interior Designer and has a position with the Southern California IIDA Inland Empire City Center. Arcel is the lead designer in his company and went to school to Mt. San Antonio College for the Interior Design program that this institution has.
  2. What five questions will you ask them about their background?
    1. How long have you been doing this profession and what inspired you to do this?
    2. Where did you do your schooling at and how do you believe that it is easy to be certified?
    3. Do you classify yourself as an experienced person in this profession?
    4. How did you know this profession was meant for you?
    5. If a client that you have is changing his/her mind often, how are you able to give them what you want without putting the items you already have to waste?
    6. The modern look is always changing, so how are you able to keep up with the trend making you an expert as an Interior Designer?

  1. With the exception of #3 being a one word answer, the rest are really interesting. Nice ideas.
